Just wanted to ramble into the abyss for a bit, because it's been a rather quiet and peaceful eveneing.
As far as developing my art is concerned, I've found that a lot of people are, and pretty much will always, be far better then myself at it. But, I don't mean that in a self-depricating or defeated way, because it's a realisation that makes me very happy to be surrounded by so many wonderfully talented indaviduals. Art, for me at least, is just something I love to do for fun in my spare time, and although I have spent a fair amount of time in the past doing sketches on paper, within the last month and a bit I have only really just started to learn anything to do with pixel art.
Yet, regardless of how much or little I progress with it, I'm still proud of any and all progress, the time spent learning and the ability to share it with others.
While that is great and all, I've never aspired to be an artist, but instead a writer. This always brings back the moaning self doubt of "You should be writing X, not drawing Y! You're wasting time not making X!!!"
That comes from me mostly being a work-o-holic. Never a good thing really ;P
So I guess what I'm really getting at is that I appreciate spending the time making little pixel art pieces like these to take a breather from studies and work, while also being able to share it within a community of greater artists and wonderful people like yourselves.
Anywho. I've rambled enough.
Thank you for reading, if indeed you still are. You're all amazing, and I hope to see more amazing things from people in the future!
Goodnight! ^-^. ~Xyro~
